Awesome practice...I need to shape up...but I did good...we did some drills, I got knocked down a couple of times...we played freeze tag...it rocked.

I bought a car. It is the exact replica of my old car. Boring but it will get me to work. After spending hours on craigslist dreaming of Thunderbirds and Old 57' Chevy trucks...I opted for reality. Honda. Accord. Teal Blue.

Work has picked up and I've actually been meeting some awesome people and getting repeat clients. Nice.

St. Patty's day was awesome with Trevor and his friend Jeff - had some Chinese with my sober friend...who pops into my life when ever he feels so inclined then I feel kicked to the curb and angry at him but then he stays away long enough to have me miss him then it starts all over again.

Its about 85 degrees and BEAUTIFUL today, I strapped on the ol' roller blades and did a couple rounds on the pavement...

I like days like this...just meandering in and out of itself.

Yesterday

Yesterday was a great day, then a bad day, then I insisted on keeping it great. Living at home is very difficult, even when counting my blessings...there is a reason we move away from our parents. We don't need to know this much about them, and anyway, I hope if my kids ever move in with me as adults, I do not treat them like this. Everything is doom and gloom and fear based and sad and heavy here. I stay away, and make my life how I want my life to be and just stay out of all of that best I can. It could be really, really cool if things and people acted differently, but it isn't. Norman Rockwell, along with Prince Charming ISN'T COMING.

So yesterday I packed up the dawg,
my fave book and headed to a lake nearby
and sat in the sun, read a book, pet the dog and took a long walk. On the way home I bought some white wine, some cheese, snackies and went home and turned on some latin jazz and sat in the sun and talked with my neice and finished my book.

I kept it calm under fire, under crazy town and under duress.

Today is more duress then I leave. I am helping my boss with cleaning the salon. I'm giving back to someone who has helped me tremendously with work and with being on my 'team'. : ) Later I go to my acupuncture appointment, my other Team Member, White Eagle...he's awesome and when I leave there I am lighter and relaxed and feel like a person again.

So today is going to be great too.
